I'd like to take a sort of case file point of view for each villain dying in a modernized setting. The Brothers Grimm will be the detectives in the story, and I'll place them in crime scenes where a villain died. They'll attempt to piece together the motive through investigation with nods to the original fairy tale. The usual protagonists may or may not be portrayed in a positive light. Murder is still murder, no matter the motivation.

I want to take this from an organized crime perspective. The Achaeans being an alliance initiating a citywide war against the Trojans, using Helen eloping as an excuse. However, Agamemnon has been waiting for any chance to take over new territory. Will take place towards the end of 'The Iliad' when Patroclus was killed and Achilles who'd left the war has now returned.

I'll have Izanagi and Izanami being the Japanese royal family in this AU, with their children Amaterasu, Susanoo, and Tsukuyomi being tracked in articles by the media. It's a sort of mirror to how the British royal family is being hounded right now, complete with mock social media posts about the aired out laundry of drama the family is currently involved in.

Japanese Ghost Stories to Tell in the Dark

I'll place medieval Japanese ghosts in modern settings, taking a page from the old shows like 'Are You Afraid of the Dark' where they're designed to be shared between friends to scare each other. The stories will revolve around a group of kids that meet regularly and take turns sharing their stories, based off of personal experiences of someone they know or themselves.
